Obelisk has been a passion project for me and my closest friend since college. Building the world and narrative structure has been a labor of love for the past 10 years. With the creation of these book covers signals the beginning of a new era in our journey. The era of actually getting this damn thing done!

With the first iteration and visual style of the cover being the short novella my goal was to establish the visual identity of the Obelisk universe. With the striking Obelisk and lined roads through the aether leading to new worlds I have created an eye catching motif that will be present throughout the series. 

The second iteration of the cover came into play with the completion of part 1 of the Violet Stars novel. The visual motifs have been pushed further with a more eye catching dark cover design that extends across the entire cover, along with additional details to create a more cohesive design.
